New Beginnings Community Church was started in the living room of our lead pastor, Jim Del Campo. Since then, we strive that same setting: family coming together to Love, Care, and Serve.

In March of 2020, Pastor Jon Hensley was asked to come and lead this campus and now serves as our Campus Pastor. Leading the church back to health and vitality in the midst of Covid-19 was one of the most challenging seasons. Through it all, we have have seen growth and we have seen God move in ways we could've never imagined.

We welcome the imperfect, flawed, and broken as much as the healing and thriving because we are all God's children. We see church as coming home, inviting guests with open arms and with the warmest hospitality. As a family, we seek to create relationships and foster growth to trust in God and pursue His loving purpose for our lives.

The Evidence of Salvation

The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit. The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness.

Baptism in Water: The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded in the scriptures. All who repent and believe in Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Thus, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness in life.

Holy Communion

The Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing the diving nature of our Lord Jesus Christ; a memorial of His suffering and death; and is enjoyed by all believers "till He comes!"

Sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God (Romans 12:1-2, Hebrews 13:12, I Thessalonians 5:23). The Scriptures teach a life of "holiness without which no man shall see the Lord." (Hebrews 12:14) By the power of the Holy Ghost we are able to obey the command: "Be ye holy, for I am holy." (1 Peter 1:15-16).

Sanctification is realized in the believer by recognizing his identification with Christ in his death and resurrection, and by faith reckoning daily upon the fact of that union, and by offering every faculty continually to be under the dominion of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 6:1-11, 13: 8:1-2, 13; 1 Peter 1:5, Galatians 2:20; Philippians 2:12-13)

One aspect of holiness is not doing what is evil. (Galatians 5:19-21, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

Another aspect of holiness is seeing all human life as sacred and created by God in His image. The ramification of this truth is lived out in the following ways at King's Cathedral and Chapels.

Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage of condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect and value all human life (Psalm 139).

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26-27). Rejection of one's biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person. 

We believe the term "marriage" has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture (Genesis 2:18-25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Corinthians 6:18, 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4). We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. 

We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, beastiality, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God (Matthew 15:18-20; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; 1 Timothy 1:9-11).

We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of King's Cathedral & Chapels as the local Body of Christ, and to provide a Biblical role model to the King's Cathedral & Chapels members and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by King's Cathedral & Chapels in any capacity, or who are formal members must hold to the Biblical standard of holiness.

The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of "the general assembly and Church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven".

The "second coming" of Christ includes the rapture of the saints to reign on the earth for one thousand years. (Zechariah 14:5, Matthew 24:27, Matthew 20, Revelation 1:7, 19:11-14, 20:1-6). This millennial reign will bring the salvation of national Israel (Ezekiel 37:21-122, Zephaniah 3:19-20, Romans 11:26-27) and the establishment of universal peace (Isaiah 11:6-9, Psalm 72:3-8, Micah 4:3-4).

There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
